Notable Mentions

Lately the chit chat during the meetings has increased making it hard for people to hear.  Please show respect to the group and the speaker by having these conversations before or after the meeting.

Business Spotlight

Roger Carpenter was today's Business Spotlight.   Roger opened his store at the Chandler Fashion Square Mall 3-1/2 years ago.  His business has changed a lot in this short time.  When he first opened it was just a wine store.  Now he has a bar and lounge space where he holds regular events.  These functions attract people to his store.  He now has a mailing list of over 3000 clients.  Not bad for the smallest franchise in the world!

What can you say? A "typical" Stuart Schindler speech filled with toys, props, boom boxes and shadow boxes!  Does he remind you of James Bond, Sony Crokett or Herman Munster?  It doesn't matter.  He is entertaining no matter what style he chooses to display.  He doesn't give himself enough credit, though.  As far as the ability to entertain, I think his talent is right up their with his sister.  And even if he didn't get straight A's all through school like his brother, he did have enough smarts to get rid of the employees and expensive equipment in order to streamline his business, improve his bottom line and, in the process, improve his quality of life.  Finding Charli along the way an added bonus.  When it comes to thinking outside of the box, nobody does it better than you Stu!
