Question of the Day
A question on banking Fees...Since the banks have been bailed
out, it seems like the lending to consumers has slowed or on what your needs are.
Feature Program - Phyllis Prater Christmas Special
Phyllis has been a jeweler for 40 years. Before that she
was a teacher. She's always been on the cutting edge of
her careers. When she became a single parent she decided
to shift to a family-friendly career and went to work at her
parent's jewelry store. She worked there 18 years, during
which she experienced a nasty robbery. The result was a
bankruptcy and her parents lost everything. Insurance is so
important.
She then opened a business in her home where she initially focused
on insurance replacement. Today she does about 20-25 quotes
each week. She has to be careful as some claims are not
legitimate. She loves the industry. She has experienced
all facets of the industry.
She was set to retire with her husband and travel. But at age
55 her nephew arrived on her door step in need of a home. She
adopted him. She now works for her new son and is thrilled to
do so.
Phyllis finished her speech today talking about the jewelry on
display. Open your wallets and get ready for Christmas!
