into MABE in order to get 35 back?"
I apologize if I didn't record your comments.
It was hard to hear this morning.
-
Roman Okonowski - I have drifted away because of
other work obligations. In 2010 I would like to re-engage
in MABE and our members. I was member number 6 in 1989.
I always felt MABE provided me 3 things. The business
support was number 1. The personal relationship were
second. And third are the business opportunities that come
your because of the relationships in MABE. MABE does not
entitle you to business. You need to build trusting
relationships through getting to know people. This is more
than a networking group. MABE provides connections.
MABE is my psychotherapy. I can come here and get support.
But you only get out of it when you put in. I have been
one of those people that has thought about pulling away from
MABE but only because I didn't feel that I have been putting in
enough. But I always come back to the decision that their
is still a tremendous value here. I encourage everyone to
make the investment.
-
Jim Bache - Congress did not change the law so
we are without an estate law. I don't recommend you go out
and die. He does recommend people with trusts have them
reviewed to avoid problems. We are a leads group and I
appreciate that. But I think it is easy to overlook how
important the contacts and wealth of knowledge we have here.
These contacts have saved me money and time and I really
appreciate it.
-
Lin Schmelzer - Bring back the Buddy Lunches!
It is a great way to get to know each other better.
-
Althea Bussert - The longer you stay in MABE the
longer you get to know people personally. I hope the new
people participate in the social events because it does bring
you closer. I hope we continue to be a family and not
drift apart.
-
Bob Becker - Attendance!!
-
Ryan Bohlander - Of course we want to make money
and get leads but as a new member I can see this is a great way
to create valuable relationships.
-
Chris Curran - This group is an incredibly
important social network for me. So much so that I will
come when my back pain flares up. But where is the good
gossip?
-
Erin LaGrassa - I get the most out of the open
discussions.
-
Janice Jaicks - I love the discussions and
learning what other people do.
-
Mark Menasci - I am getting more out of this
group than I could have imagined. I feel like I am not
alone - I have partners in business. I feel like I got to
know people more at the holiday party than I have coming to the
meetings so I am looking forward to more of those events.
-
Joe Hesch - I am one of those "attendance
people". But I think more of me is better for you so I am
making a commitment to being here.
-
Dave Lathrop - Its an internal vs. external
thing. I really want people to make their intentions real.
If you commit to better attendance...really commit.
