Membership Update
Roman Okonowski has a prospective member, Jeff and Troy Valentine.  They install screens of all types.  He wanted to make sure there was no conflict with Steve Chilton.

Board Update
Andy Jensen, Dave Lathrop and Steve Chilton will be leaving the board.  Dave Crissman has decided to go off the board so members were asked to cast their vote for 4 nominees.

  • Nick Mawrenko - I want to contribute further to this group that I love.  I want to bring value to the group and make it a stronger, viable organization.  I want to make it one that everyone wants to come to every Friday morning.  Yes, willing to be president.

  • Janice Jaicks - I was shocked about the nomination.  What is my benefit and motivation?  I don't feel totally confident yet so I see this as an opportunity to get to know everyone better and gain that confidence.  I think my conference experience will make me a good board member.  I promise to bring fresh ideas, motivation and passion.  No on the president, I'm too new.

  • Jake Ulrich - I am doing a short speech this time!  I am definitely happy to have the nomination and look forward to being on the board.  I understand the process and I am more than willing to help out.  I have no intentions of leaving the group and would like to take it to the next level.  Yes, willing to be president.

  • Guy Sawyer - I was surprised to get a call asking me to be on the board.  I also considered the benefits to me.  It would be to get me off my butt!  The downside was committing to another 18-months as a board member.  I mulled things over.  I determined that I am a vegetable.  If this inspires you to vote for me than go for it.  Yes, willing to be president.

  • Joe Hesch - It has been 10 years since I have been on the board.  I am sure the emotional scarring is over.  It is my intention to be president again.  I like what we are doing now.  My intention is to also bring back the old school again.  I like the question of the day.  Leads and introductions need to be more prominent and we need to focus on leads that actually mean something.  I think that membership needs to be worked on.  We need to take more chances and relax the rules a little bit.  I would like to see us grow to around 50 people and become a vibrant group.

  • Denver Johnson - Over the years I have served on a lot of committees in various groups.  I do have some experience.  I believe if you are going to be a member of a group than you need to serve.  I am not willing to be president as I don't believe I can dedicate the time the position deserves.

And your new board members are....[drum roll please].... Nick Mawrenko, Janice Jaicks, Jake Ulrich and Joe Hesch.  They will join your continuing board members Erin LaGrassa, Bob Busch and Don Ellis.

Featured Program - Jeopardy
Today the group played Jeopardy.  Erin LaGrassa was the game show host.  The conflict resolution chair was busy this morning!
