CATEGORIES
The board has discussed the need to narrow categories to make it easier to bring in new members for the benefit of all (more leads to share, more people to share with, support).

Steve Chilton is in a broad category.  He commented that the group is more important to him than the category he holds.

Everyone could have a "what if" scenario that would need to be handled on a case-by-case basis.

This is business development group, not just leads.   This group needs to become more proactive in supporting each others business or what is the point.

You shouldn't be obligated to use each other.  You are not entitled.  You need to attend meetings, share what you do and build relationships.  You have to earn business.  Those that expect leads don't stay.

There are so many easy categories to fill that don't have conflicts.  We should focus on those.

Perhaps we should look at changing the bylaws and remove category restrictions.  Some members welcome competition.

I count on the group for leads.  I would like to see this group become more aggressive in getting business for each other.

People in this group have respected each other's categories in the past.

Think big picture to grow the group and our individual business.
