Today's Discussion -
Kristi Morgan
I am originally Canadian.
I moved to St. Louis where I went to chiropractor college.
This is where I met my husband. We have been married 6 years.
We moved to Eerie where we lived for 5 years. We dabbled in
real estate and some other things. We got the opportunity to
join Valley Wide Health Centers in February of last year. We
worked the numbers and decided it was a much better long term plan
for us. We now have our own practices. My husband is in
Avondale and I am in Scottsdale. We have no family here but
lots of friends.
I know there is a stigma with
chiropractors. My biggest goal is to educate people. I
will let them know what I can or cannot do. I can't fix
everything and will make referrals where needed. I look at
x-rays in a different way from a regular doctor. We look at
posture. I want to get rid of your problem so it will not come
back.
I work with babies all the way
up. I have adjusted my son since birth and he doesn't get
sick. We treat them naturally. We can help with
earaches, colic, gas and constipation. We keep kids healthy
from birth so they grow properly and healthy.
We can help with herniated
discs, sports injuries and more. Again, if I can't help I will
refer out to a specialist. I use two different techniques.
I will work with my hands or use tools. I can work with any
bone in the body. It takes more time to work with older
injuries. Muscle has memory and you have to train it to stay
in place.
Our clinics are different.
We have very large clinics and staff. We employ 6-10
therapists at a time. In every visit you will be able to get a
trigger point massage.
An adjustment is where I move a
bone, very subtlety. We don't work with dislocations.
When I am adjusting I can move those bones back into place.
You start a chain reaction of relieving the pain and helping with
healing. Our goal is to get your body into shape to stop any
degeneration.
We accept all insurances.
I give everyone the benefit as if you were in network. Your
health comes first, not finances. Our first is always at no
charge. We do X-ray of your main complaint, consult and
massage. On your second visit, also free, we go over the
results and let you know exactly what we have found and if we can
help. Insurance usually covers everything.
