This week's spotlight is
Dave Crissman. Please keep this member top of mind
this week for referrals.
Membership
Today we said goodbye to a beloved member, Guy Sawyer. He
and his wife are retiring and moving up north to Overgaard.
Guy is very sad about leaving. This group is like a family
except that he actually likes everybody in MABE. He would like
to stay in touch and invites members to come visit.
Board Update
Today is Jake Ulrich's last day as president. (But
hopefully this does not mean the end of the crazy bank stories!)
Nick Mawrenko will transition into the role next week.
We will wait a few more days to give members a chance to complete
the survey monkey.

What makes a good MABE member?
Jake summarized the key characteristics of what the group
believes makes a good MABE member. There was a group
discussion on this list and how we can improve as a group and
individual members.

Sub-Committees
Membership
There are clearly categories that we are missing. But we
don't want to just fill seats. We may need a better process to
help us find a great person.
Attendance is important. The missing member gains nothing
from the group. The group does not get a chance to know the
person and may not feel confident referring them. It is better
to fill the category with a member that wants to be here and
participate.
Employee/Business Conflict Resolution
This doesn't have to be MABE related. It could be a
personal business issue you are dealing with and need a team of
people to reach out to.
Financial
This committee would really dive into the financials to help
with planning.
Social
A group of people to help think about functions. Social
events are a great way to get to know each other (MABE Outside of
MABE).
