Social Update
Happy hour next Friday, April 8th at 5pm at the Keg in Tempe.

Today's Program - Table Talk Challenge
Tables where assigned a topic to discuss and share, in the form of a question, to stimulate conversation.

Be Ready to Invest
Can you invest time, energy and talent (it's not just about money)?
Discussion Points - Yes.  You have to invest in those things to make your company work. Sweat equity.  "Ummm", Andy Jensen.  You need to invest your time outside your business as well - In the community.  You need to make the best use of your time that can also help you in your business.

Set Goals & Keep Score
What exactly do you need to measure and what are the consequences if you don't meet your objective?
Discussion Points - Too many people forget to track their time.  You can lose a ton of money spending too much time on the wrong client.    The consequences are getting behind and losing money on other clients.  There is wisdom and saying I can't help you (for clients that you want to turn down).  People can sense desperation for business.  We take our eyes of the prize because we don't set goals, keep score.  Follow-up is important (further discussion on how to follow-up, questions to ask). Have someone else monitoring your progress, hold you accountable.  We are all faced with choices everyday.  It boils down to every person's conscious, character.  The platinum rule - treat others the way they want to be treated.

Avoid Debt
How much do you pay for services (non-financed, business expenses) that could be reduced in cost if your credit was better?
Discussion Points  - Don't over extend yourself.  You don't have to avoid all debt.  You don't want to be tied to "feeding the beast" every month.  You have to use debt strategically.  Don't be a slave to your credit score.

Culture Matters
What is the your culture?
Discussion Points - "Empty mind", Don Ellis.  Your culture should distinguish you.  A better question is what do you aspire to.  Its about your company presence, who you are, what your company belief is.

First who, then what?  Most people do it backwards.  People are not your most important asset, the RIGHT people are.
