Leads & Introductions
During Leads & Introductions members also mentioned a time
when they have beaten the odds.
Jim Bache - When I has in high school I was in a motorcycle accident
that I should not have survived.
Terry Schnelle - I am a recreational skydiver and had times where I
could have "packed" better.
Fred Vandervort - I had a prom night drag race close call.
Barbara Luther - I tried to feed a shark one time.
Nick Carr - I won $15K on a Vegas slot machine.
Shawn Vigneau - I am still married to my high school sweetheart.
Jeff Sutherlin - Rocky Point + rain + dirt road + Bacardi =
360-turn in the car.
Joe Burr - I passed the bar exam on my first try. Nick Carr
almost killed me on a jet ski as he tried to hit the brakes (that
didn't exist!)
Chris Curran - We are in this room drinking clean water with
roofs over our heads, compared to the rest of the world we are all
beating the odds.
Joe Arsenault - Lake Powell + one boat + one jet ski + drunk driver
= collision
Jake Ulrich - I was riding my first motorcycle - no helmet - and got
the wind knocked out of me. I had hit a 7-point buck and
rolled out of control. Ambulance went to wrong location.
Joe Hesch - I also won $15K but mine was accumulative winnings off
of Curran over the years.
Herb Stokes - I lost 75% of my hearing at age 5-years.
My mom fought for me to go to public school,
Sandro Menasci - Getting through customs to go to the Bahamas.
Althea Bussert - Celebrating 30+ years in business, not many
can say that.
Dave Crissman - I don't like groups and I have been here a very long
time.
David Lathrop - I beat the odds with the children I adopted. I
was in the WTC just 2-days before 9-11.
Ryan Bohlander - I went on a rafting trip in Peru, missed the second
day and a tragic accident.
