Something to Think About...
Top 5 Death Bed Regrets

1. I wish I had lived a life true to myself and not what others expected of me.
2. I wish I didn't work that hard.
3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish I had let myself be happier.

Leads & Introductions
Members presented leads & introductions and told the group what is happening in their business.

  • Jim B - Last year was the highest gross receipts for us due to litigation.
  • Nick C - AIG expects insurance premiums to rise this year.
  • Erin L - 2011 was our biggest grossing year too.
  • Dave C - We are finally getting some traction on going paperless.
  • Janice J - I am going to do mini seminars to build my database.
  • Stacy H - Shockingly, 2011 was my best year.  But now I am scaling back on my case load.
  • Dave L - Revenue generation was good last year but it seemed like I worked a lot.
  • Andy J - Big change for me is we are moving.  Its a longer drive but I can now carpool with my wife.
  • Chris C - I had a good 4th quarter. I can't say that revenue is great right now. I am working on more significant matters that take more time.  I suggest anyone that can should become an expert witness.  You will make a good living.
  • Mark M - I have been working from home a lot more.  It cuts down on a lot of time, hassle and expense.
  • Don E - I used to be a raging bull at work, micro manager.  Now I stay away so others can run the show.  The rental property market is getting tough.
  • Sandro M - We have been improving the last couple of years.  The only issue is that parts expense has gone up.
  • Herb S - Our expenses have gone up quite a bit.  We are at a point where we need to reevaluate our business model.  We are going to focus on yearbook reps and schools.  We are currently offering specials to increase business.
  • Nick M - Business is going as planned, 50% growth.  What I love about what I do is seeing the immediate impact that I have on clients.
  • Joe Z - I have been trying to do my part to stimulate the economy by purchasing large equipment and remodeling.  We are busier and have more revenue.  We have learned how to control expenses better.  And we discovered that our weakest link was our estimator so we replaced her.
  • Phyllis P - There have been lots of industry changes. Silver has really taken over.  I am able to be honest with people about the true value of their gold.
  • Jeff S - I finished the race last week.  We are steadily growing.  Our agents are doing great on commissions.  I feel like I have a good feel of where the market is right now.  I drop non-producing agents so we are positioned well.
  • Ryan B - Today I am training my first employee.
