Member Spotlight
This week's spotlight is
Stacy Hyder. Please keep this member top of
mind this week for referrals.
Leads & Introductions
Members presented leads & introductions and told the
group about a good customer service experience they've had
and what it meant to them.
- Just a smile makes a big difference.
- A free wine ticket can go a long way if you know
how to work it.
- Its comforting to call someone that is patient,
knows their stuff and is quick to respond.
- Quick service, no more banging into walls.
- It is surprising and nice when you find them
going above and beyond at a reasonable price.
- It's nice when they make the transaction stress
free.
- It's a pleasure when the servers are quick and
on the money.
- When I think of customer service I think of the
group.
- I am impressed when customer services wants to
wait while I do something to make sure there are no
further problems.
- I struggle think of anyone outside of MABE that
provides the same service as our members.
- Amazingly, I have had great service from a
government entity.
- It is easier to think of the bad service than it
is the good. But the best service I have
received recently was out-of-state. Every time
you walked by a member of the staff they looked at
you and greeted you. They were letting you
know this was not just a job, that they were here to
serve you.
- You get what you pay for.
- When they are eager to help it makes for a good
experience.
- I personally don't like to have people on me
before I even get through the door.
- Its much worse when you need help and you can't
find a salesperson to help.
- What I am hearing here today is treat your
customers like your friends.
Board Elections
Next month we will elect a new board. Nominations
start next week. It will be nice to have a mix of
older and newer members. Think about who you would
like to nominate.
Meeting Update
Next week Barb Luther and Jake Ulrich will speak.
Think about what in your business could be considered
intellectual property. Barb will tell us to value and
protect it. Jake will speak on the nature of the
banking industry.
Social
Invite
Next Saturday at 11am, Erin LaGrassa is hosting a long
boarding event. An email with all the details was sent
out last week.
Story Time
A member shared a story of an event that occurred at his
place of business recently. [Details left out on
purpose.] The moral of this story...if we start
trampling on people's rights because we can, it is only a
matter of time before the start trampling on ours.
Other things to take away from the story...know your rights,
protect yourself, don't be too trusting of government
entities and keep Stacy's number on speed dial.
