Logo & Brochure Finalization
The group has accepted a logo.  We will make this logo available to members to use at their businesses. 

It has been difficult to get a decision made on the different brochure options.  Each idea has met with resistance.  It was recommended that the board make an executive decision to move forward with the new brochure idea and if it doesn't work we can go back to the old brochure style.  The motion was made and unanimously approved to move forward with the new style.

Membership Issues
We need to find out why members are unhappy and considering leaving.  Bob Busch believes we need to form a retention committee or assign the task to a board member.  He also suggested that instead of a committee, just ask members to bring any issues up with a board member so they can try to remedy the situations.

The bylaws make it clear that owners can designate a representative that meets certain qualifications.  Transfers of ownership require a new application.

It is important to get new members involved immediately.  It is also important to end the meetings on time.

We need to ask members what their goals are for belonging to MABE.  (Dave Lathrop)  When you have a goal, your perspective changes.

The next meeting will be an open discussion to address membership issues.
