  • June 5th - AKA Greene offsite meeting - Indian School & Hayden (81st St) - Going Green

  • July 3rd -4th of July Holiday

  • September 4th - Labor Day (Plan on meeting unless Memorial Day turnout low)

  • November 27th - Thanksgiving Holiday

  • December 25th - Christmas Holiday

  • January 1st - New Years Holiday

Printing & Promotional's
In an effort to go green and save on time and printing, we will stop printing agendas over the next few meetings to see if they are missed.  If requested by a few, we can print smaller quantities.  Members can refer to brochures and use available notepads to take notes.  We can have Stuart Schindler bring in notepads for meeting use.

Social Networking
We will continue to develop the social networking sites.  Board members were encouraged to get online and participate.

Since LinkedIn is the most business oriented site, we will focus our efforts on getting members to participate.

Follow-up to Member Suggestions
The board will further review members suggestions from last week's round table question.  Suggestions included:

  • Increasing membership

  • Increasing term of presidency

  • Start and end meetings on time

  • Bring back the Mighty Minute

  • Bring back Buddy Lunches

  • Include more socials outings such as the MABE Happy Hour on a recurring basis

  • Have a good mix of open discussions and straight business-type meetings

Finances
Dave Lathrop would like to request a ABE debit card to use for paying bills instead of Barbara Kollman using her personal card and getting reimbursed.  All board members agreed.

Melissa Matthews suggested that we discontinue the PayPal payment option for dues as there was no interest during the last billing cycle.
