Board Positions
The new board members were updated on the board's recent decision to allow a president to do a second term in the position if everyone was in agreement.  There was discussion on the pros and cons of a back-to-back presidency.

Guest Event
The board discussed the upcoming Guest Event on October 9th.  Dave Lathrop stressed the importance of making the meeting exciting and worthwhile.  Each board member was asked to personally follow-up with a list of members to encourage their attendance and that of a guest. They should also stress avoiding guests that would be in conflict with an existing member's category. 

Community Participation
The board agreed that MABE should join the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. 

Meeting Start Time
There was brief discussion on the start time.  We should encourage people to come early if they need to socialize or discuss private business.  Let them know we need to start promptly at 7:15am.
