INCREASING MEMBERSHIP
We need to increase members.  50 is a good number.  Members need to invite people.  Have proposed members come to guest meeting and a regular meeting so they can get a well rounded feel for the group.  April 16th will be our next guest event.   Nick suggested having members on the spot write down decision makers they know and the person with the most wins a prize.  Melissa will email the open category list to Erin and she will use this to implement Nick's idea at next Friday's meeting. 

NARROWING CATEGORIES
We need to consider narrowing down categories so we can bring in more members that can benefit the group.  Joe Hesch agreed to review current categories help and recommend changes. 

SIMPLIFYING APPLICATION PROCESS
Melissa will email the board recommended changes to the procedures to shorten the time it takes to bring in a new members.  This will include a condensed application for board consideration.

ATTENDANCE
The board agreed that we need to follow the established attendance policy with members not in compliance.  Joe will review the attendance records.

BOARD MEETINGS
The board will meet on the 2nd Friday of every month for a meeting directly after the regular meeting at Shalimar.  Evening meetings at the Landmark will be eliminated.

MABE HISTORIAN
The board members agreed that having a MABE historian, a non-board position, would be a good idea.  This person would be asked to participate in meetings every 6-months.  Several members qualify for this position.
